Glory & Pride of Taiwan!

Congratulations to Taiwan’s own Ang Lee, who becomes the first Asian to even win an Oscar for best director. This is a glorious day for all Chinese all over the world. Evan though his movie “Brokeback Mountain” did not win best film of the year, instead “Crash” pull an upset. However, “Brokeback Mountain” did pick up 2 other awards: adapted screenplay and musical score. Does the conservative Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences felt it's too soon to give out an award for best picture to a film about gay cowboys? No one would know that for sure. But, one thing is for certain. This movie has already made an impact on Hollywood and America.
